Just came across this album and I think its incredible!

Definitely has that tape feel to it...even uses a drum machine on a few tracks. Take a listen!

Speed Trials from Elliott Smith's 3rd album Either/Or was recorded on a 4 track

I was listening to The Parade, a pop chart history show and found out about the Yeah Yeah Yeahs song Maps being essentially ripped off for Kelly Clarkson's Since U Been Gone. I listened to the original and fell in love with it. The album it was released on Fever To Tell has a deluxe edition that features 4 track demos of 9 songs including Maps: https://open.spotify.com/album/0EWy7HH4JeUBPx8KnHkvNO
